Here's one (if you're in the US):
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Latitude-E6530-15-6-Core-i7-3740M-2-70GHz-Win-10-Pro-8GB-RAM-256GB-SSD/202551381259
(I'd have preferred the 1600x900 screen, but the full 1080p one is workable .. and I'd have preferred 16GB RAM, but most people won't need that)

or maybe an E6540 with 16GB (dual core / 4 threads i7)

but you'd wanna check the native resolution on that .. it's not stated.

One of these days, I'm gonna splurge and buy a Latitude XFR. I l-o-v-e these tings, but nice ones are a little pricey.

As you say, hard to find nice ones .. I'm yet to see a Panasonic Toughbook that didn't look like it'd been towed behind a truck for a week.

I just installed Peppermint 9 on a MacBook 4,1 and it's running quite well.

But, for the life of me I can't figure out how to right-click on the trackpad. There's not a setting for it, and ctrl-click doesn't work.

Anyone?

A two finger tap should be the default for right-click.

Ah..... I was doing a tap-tap with two fingers instead of a double tap. It was technique, not technology.

I appreciate that! It was driving me nuts.
