Hi all
running a basic system, legacy motherboard with built-in Radeon 3000 graphics.

The monitor I'm using has 3 gamma settings none of them are right.  Is there a way within Peppermint
to fine tune the gamma/brighness setting through the driver or similar?

TIA
Dave

Maybe you could try installing brightness-controller from here:
https://launchpad.net/~apandada1/+archive/ubuntu/brightness-controller/+files/brightness-controller_2.0.2_all.deb
you'll then find it in the menu at

Menu > Accessories > Brightness Controller
