Thank you, gentlemen.  Let's not forget that we can now put Peppermint 9 Respin under the tree too.  Taking a few moments to install Peppermint on a family member's, or friend's, computer is a gift of love too! :)

Visiting family for Christmas? Replace Windows 10 on their computer with Peppermint OS 9 Respin Linux distro

By Brian Fagioli for betanews

https://betanews.com/2018/12/22/visiting-family-for-christmas-replace-windows-10-on-their-computer-with-peppermint-os-9-respin-linux-distro/

[T]here are a lot of people happily running Peppermint ICE which hasn't been receiving ANY updates for a while now .. and I personally would STILL consider that MUCH more secure than any version of Windows with up-to-date AV/Anti-malware ;)

Yeah I saw that perknh, along with some of the daft comments which were good for a laugh if nothing else :)
(I'm guessing the authors usual audience are not Linux fans :)))

I know it!  I posted before I read the comments; but when I read some of those comments, I couldn't believe my eyes.  What business do some of those guys have posting in betanews?  They're so out of touch.  Their comments sound like they're talking about some obscure Linux distribution from a decade ago.  And what's this thing about Wi-Fi?   If a fellow can connect to Wi-Fi with Linux Mint, he should certainly be able to connect to Wi-Fi with Peppermint.  What's the difference?  Grrr! ::)

Still, Fagioli's piece is a good one.  He's spot on when he talks about Peppermint 9 Respin! :)
