Spectre-like variations continue to be discovered, just as academics predicted at the start of 2018. :o

A nice read, a lot of good details. ;)

Ultra summarized : someone manage to do it from, something easy and reachable, the web browser, the speculative execution (Spectre) can just with a random add can infect the system.

Just making sure people understood.

A lot of these press headlines are designed specifically as sensationalised clickbait .. I wasn't accusing YOU of that, just making sure people who (as you suggest) don't read the entire article understand they're safe if they're up to date :)
