I was reading the comments of YT. If anyone doubts that Peppermint is #1 on low-end machines...

This 15 year-old 32-bit Dell (below) was headed for the landfill, before I rescued it, for testing purposes.

Peppermint 9, 32-bit Release - 32-bit Linux 4.19 LTS Kernel - IPv6 & IPv4 connectivity - 12 sec boot

Just saying  8)

It runs great on my POS laptop. So much better than Windows 7 64-bit ever did, and that's what came with it.

You know, "POS" is the only (unfortunate) thing I don't like about the PeppermintOS name  ???

It's ironic, because it turns POS hardware into not a POS. So, it's anti POS while still being POS? :-\

Heh. Yeah, you can be cursed by them. But, Peppermint is definitely not a POS. It's the #1 OS on the planet as far as I'm concerned. :D And, I even have nice, new shiny hardware. (this computer is less than a year old) I just love that minimalist approach. Plus, being able to use the same OS on all my systems is a great thing.
