I was trying to install a VPN (I pay for a VPN service) and sometime when I was installing some software, I have noticed that the Networking ICON in the task bar disappeared  (That is the one that looks like a signal strength Icon.  Normally you right click it, and then follow the prompts to configure a VPN, however with the Icon gone, I am flumexed.  I was trying to install a Cisco Network Compatible (VPNC) Any Ideas?

Well, I did some poking around (Google is your friend) and discovered that the nm-applet wasn't there anymore, so I installed  network-manager and it came back!!! 8)
