Hi LuxyShadow, welcome to the Peppermint Forum  :).  Could we have some more detailed information about your system?  Open a terminal window with the following keystrokes:

Ctrl+Alt+t

Enter, (Copy & Paste) the following command into the terminal window.  Post the output back to the forum:
Code: [Select]
inxi -Fz
Could you also let us know why you need these 32-bit libraries?

Note: When posting commands or edits for the text editor, could you please encapsulate them with the Insert, Code # function.  For extra long entries, please use the Spoiler, Sp function.  If you're using either the Chromium Browser or Google Chrome, don't combine these functions.  Only use one or the other per output  ;).  These functions allow the user to see how entries look in the system text editor.  Doing this is a huge help  ;).  It makes it much easier for future visitors; especially novice or newbies  ;).

These functions are found in the forum editor, above the,  :-[ Embarrassed and  the :'( Cry emoticon respectively.  You can click on the Preview button to see how it'll look in the forum  ;).
Backup! Backup! Backup! If you're missing any of these -  you ain't Backed Up!
For my system info please L/click HERE.

There hasn't been a single command to do this in Ubuntu (and therefore Peppermint) for quite some time .. ia32libs no longer exists, multiarch support in 64bit Linux now generally means "installing a 32bit app from the repos, will automatically pull in the correct 32bit dependencies".

What 32bit app are you having problems with in 64bit Peppermint 9 ?

How did you install that 32bit app ?

Any error messages when you attempt to run it ?

If you already know the libs you want, but just don't know how to install the 32bit version .. just add :i386 to the end of the command.

For example to install the 32bit version of the libc6 package, you'd run
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install libc6:i386

Hey guys, thanks for the reply! So i have installed Steam on my crappy laptop, and i installed Mount&Blade Warband, but the configuration menu wouldnt open. So i did some googling and alot of people said installing 32bit lib helped them, they were on arch linux though. I think its just the problem of the game, its probably not optimized for linux that well. Here are the logs from the command you sent me.(Edit: Oh and there is no crash log or anything when i open the thing, it just closes by itself, i know thats not an issues you guys could solve, since its kinda not peppermint related, thats why i just asked for the command for 32libs, and ty for the tip how to get those libraries :D)
(edit 2: ./mbw_config_linux: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
this is the message i get when i try to open the configuration thingy)

Okay working from this

try running
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install libaudio2:i386 libglib2.0-0:i386 libpng16-16:i386 libfreetype6:i386 libxi6:i386 libxrender1:i386 libSDL2-2.0-0:i386
and see if the game works ?

If not, run:
Code: [Select]
sudo updatedb
then post the output from:
Code: [Select]
locate mbw_config.sh

I installed the libs you posted, and did the updatedb, ( config file still didnt launch) this is the location /home/luxyshadow/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/MountBlade Warband/mbw_config.sh
And after i try to launch the config with terminal i get this: ./mbw_config_linux
./mbw_config_linux: error while loading shared libraries: libsteam_api.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Guys thank you so much for your time and help <3

*****************************FIXED*****************************
I have fixed it guys, so i will share what i did, if anyone will have the same problem.
First i have installed libraries with:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install libqtgui4:i386
then i went to steam and to local files of MB Warband, and i removed libQtGui.so.4 and libQtCore.so.4
Apperantly those files were conflicting with something, and now it works :D

Ty guys for all the support and help, you rock ! :D

welcome aboard the Peppermint Express, great you figured out what was the problem and thanks for sharing the solution. I played MB Warband some years ago it's a great game, took me some time to conquer all of Calradia  ;D
