Hi, All!

I was a bit lost trying to figure out how to have Sakura open up to the the size I like.
I like having it nice and big on my desktop (just because).

I saw a solution here https://forum.peppermintos.com/index.php/topic,5923.0.html, which involved adding a line on to the end of the ~/.bashrc file.  I tried that, but it didn't seem to work for me.  I probably should've waited until I rebooted the computer, I suppose.

But I decided to go for an easier-ish fix by editing the desktop launcher for Sakura on the main panel.  I just edited the launcher in the panel so it looked like this:
Code: [Select]
sakura -c 140 -r 45
And since I usually only have one instance of the terminal open at any one time, and only open it with the panel launcher anyway, this seems to work just fine.  Open Sakura nice and big, just as I like it.  I like seeing all the stuff going on in the terminal.  Just in case something important crops up.  Although I'm sure a lot of users would like the terminal much smaller than 140 columns and 45 rows.

Just thought I'd pass that on, in case anyone else wanted a quick fix for customizing Sakura's terminal size as they like it.

Cheers!

As an addition to your start script you can add an offset (left and upper) like this:

Code: [Select]
sakura -c 110 -r 20 --geometry 95x95+30+35
In this case, 95x95 has no any affect but it is a must have setting, but the latter sets an offset 30 pixels from left and 35 pixels from the top.
