To be honest, I have no clue as to why FF is getting slower for you  :-\
I have it on 6 systems, only 3 of those are mine  ;), and haven't seen it happening  :o

No idea perknh .. maybe try Firefox Dev edition.

Do you know when it slowed down ?

Have you changed anything anywhere recently .. I mean I know you like to play with weird DNS setups ?

Is it still slow in the Guest session ?

I don't know the exact date when it slowed down.  I do have a new modem.  I know that since I got the new modem I can't run GRC's spoofabiltiy test.  That means something is different than before.  I've set it to use Quad9's DNS.  I'm doing nothing with DNSCrypt these days.

I boot into Peppermint from a solid state drive that's attached externally.  The computer doesn't feel too hot to the touch.  Maybe it's my modem; I don't know. Maybe I should go back to Firefox Nightly. :-\

Thank you.

[T]here are a lot of people happily running Peppermint ICE which hasn't been receiving ANY updates for a while now .. and I personally would STILL consider that MUCH more secure than any version of Windows with up-to-date AV/Anti-malware ;)

Thank you, pin.  I'm going to experiment with some of those ideas.  Also, I just got a new modem within the last hour.  Maybe that will help with speed issues too.

Knock on wood, we'll see! ;)
