So, I got this i7 thinkpad t540p with nvidia gpu for free. Rather heavy, but really nice screen.
My daughter running Bodhi on a hp elitebook 2570 asked me if she could have the thinkpad instead, as the screen is 16" instead of 13"... hmm!
I downloaded Bodhi 5.0 and wasted 3h trying to install Bodhi on the thinkpad. I've tried all things. I got it installed using safe graphics mode and running using the nouveau driver, but it was really unstable, every third or forth boot I was forced to boot into console mode. Tried the nvidia driver but booted into a black screen.
I told her to either stay on the 13" or change over to Peppermint

10min later the thinkpad is running PM9 flawlessly

It works perfectly with both nouveau or nvidia.
So, now we have a new Peppermint user

EDIT:
Just in case...
