4 screen split support (SOLVED)
« on: May 12, 2018, 12:15:12 pm »
I have keyboard shortcuts set up to tile windows left, right, up, down,
or in one of the 4 quandrants, but it seems to be limited to 2 vertical windows
or 2 horizontal windows or a window in each quadrant.

I've also used 2 monitors successfully but I would rather have all windows
on just one monitor.

I was considering a new monitor purchase and noticed that LG makes a
ultrawide gaming monitor that has what they call 4 screen split capability.

I've read a little on the subject and evidently Windows has support for
4 screen split built in. So, I was wondering if this could be done in Peppermint.

In other words, is there any way to tile 3 or 4 vertical windows in Peppermint
without just adjusting the size of each window manually ?

Well, I'm going to mark this solved because I found a program that I
had actually used before but had forgot about it.

The program is X-tile and it is in the repository, but a newer version
is available on the X-tile site.

It lets you tile windows about any way you want and also allows you
to manually size windows and save the configuration as a custom tiling selection.
