Gis Weather has stopped working.
« on: May 12, 2018, 09:16:39 am »
On both of my laptops, running Peppermint 7 re-spin, Gis Weather has stopped working.

When it opens it shows the following:
Gis Weather v 0.8.2.5
Getting weather....

I am unable to do anything with it. It will just sit there for hours doing nothing.
It does show in Task Manager as running.

Try renaming/deleting its config directory...

First make sure it's not running
Code: [Select]
sudo killall gis-weather
then rename it's config directory
Code: [Select]
move ~/.config/gis-weather ~/.config/gis-weather.broken
BE AWARE, this will set it back to defaults .. so you'll have to reconfigure it again when you start it.

Thanks!

It's looking like what is actually broken is using AccuWeather with the app.

It's locking up when I try to set it up with AccuWeather.  >:(
