Gotta say...  This Crucial 1TB SSD is blazingly fast!

Just hit a new Peppermint best - 3.1 sec boot time  :o

Code: [Select]
vindsl@Killerwatt ~ $ systemd-analyze time
Startup finished in 2.292s (kernel) + 839ms (userspace) = 3.132s
graphical.target reached after 835ms in userspace

Code: [Select]
vindsl@Killerwatt ~ $ systemd-analyze critical-chain
The time after the unit is active or started is printed after the "@" character.
The time the unit takes to start is printed after the "+" character.

graphical.target @835ms
└─udisks2.service @505ms +329ms
  └─basic.target @468ms
    └─sockets.target @468ms
      └─avahi-daemon.socket @468ms
        └─sysinit.target @462ms

I've been hitting consistent 5 sec boots, all night long, one after another.

Peppermint 9 - Linux 5.0 Disco signed bootstrap kernel - UEFI w/Secure Boot

Purging 'network-manager' and installing 'WiCD' put the icing on the cake.

I wonder if I can knock another couple of tenths off that time...  ;D
