You can already see your own posts .. view your own profile summary, and it's there on the left "show posts"
(you can do this for any user including yourself)
Yes the profile one shows all posts though, but this bookmark one you can bookmark just the thread, rather then individual posts...  :)

Peppermint Nation,

I have more fun in this forum than any place else online.

Peppermint forum is my favorite place online.   ;)

And, if I could add one feature to this forum, I'd add a Save Draft feature to it.

I've now experienced countless times when I've began writing within some interesting thread, and then something urgent comes up, and I have to abruptly stop what I am writing.  Then, usually hours later, I have to start all over again in order to write within the thread.   Or, if I don't want to do this, I find myself posting my hastily written piece until a later time when I can revise what I had written earlier.

I know I would find a Save Draft feature an extremely helpful tool for this forum.

Thank you,

perknh

Are you clicking the "Always stay logged in:" box, @ login?

If you have this box checked and/or you haven't logged in on another machine, your session should remain active until you logout.   ;)

VinDSL, and PCNetSpec!

Am I smoking wacky tobaccy here, or do we now have Save as Draft?

Peppermint forum has just blown my mind!

 :o

The "test" gets an A+, blue ribbon, and a gold star.

I don't see Save as Draft on the second rewrite, but I did see it in the first one.  It's in the works, and it's obviously working very, very well.

This Save as Draft option will be very helpful to many, many people.  I'm sure.

Wow!

ˇMil gracias!

Many, many, thanks!

We do now...

When making a posting, or starting a topic, you'll now have the option to "Save as Draft"

To access you drafts, go to Profile > Summary > Show Drafts .. from there you can select to edit or post the draft.

Also, any time you open a post dialog .. any drafts you have will be displayed underneath where you normally enter text

Enjoy :)

At first it screwed up the "automatically return to topic after posting" so I uninstalled it to see if that fixed things .. it didn't .. but I discovered I could reset that anyway so I've reinstalled it .. all's well with the world again

We do now...
--PCNetSpec

I woke up this morning, turned on the computer, and I went to Profile > Summary > Show Drafts,  and it's all there, just as PCNetSpec has said in his post above.

Peppermint forum now has another wonderful tool, Save as Draft, alongside our other two tools Post and Preview.  We can now use this handy tool when we're in the process of posting, and then find ourselves suddenly ushered away from our writing.

I do believe that when Peppermint 5 is released, Peppermint 5 itself, along with this new Peppermint forum, are both about to knock everybody's socks off.

Friends at Peppermint Nation, it just doesn't get better than this!

Thank you, PCNetSpec.

 :)

I have to admit, I gave up using SMF on my own sites/sites I manage for other people, shortly after 2.0 went stable, the development is excruciatingly slow, and a lot of mod authors seem to have given up and finding regularly updated mods can be a PITA
