LOL! When I removed Windoze from my laptop I affixed the "powered by Windows 7" sticker to the mudflap of my neighbour's boneshaker bicycle.

hey PCNetSpec...i have been removing the win vista tags off of these computers donated by a military organisation and was just thinking to myself last night that i wish i had stickers saying replaced or fixed with linux...i would buy them...correction, i WILL buy them..."git er dun" as they say in red neck country lol...only correction i might suggest is to say "Linux pepperment" or any derivation thereof just to re-iterate that peppermint is a"linux" based OS...i only mention this because i was talking to a man in the supermarket this morning that wants win 10 to disappear on his computer...he stopped using it months ago because it wasnt fun anymore and took up too much time repairing system after cumulative updates etc...i told him how about peppermint and he thought it was just another form of a microsoft windows OS...i educated him of the difference...he wanted my phone number and wants me to convert it for him...he is also a private building contractor that tells me his customers also want something better than MS and asked if it was ok to give my number to them to do this...amen brothers, i now go forth and preach the gospel of linux peppermint...lol...lets make sure that the uninformed know what linux peppermint is verses microcraps windbloes 10...respectfully submitted...DAMIEN

 8) Excellent!!!
I will buy them for sure. My laptops have no stickers, I always remove them... why keeping a sticker with a window in colors???
Just say NO to flatpak and snap!!

hi murraymint...i just wanted you all to know that DAMIEN is of course not my real name...it is a pseudonym...interesting as to how i came up with it...it was during my xp days when as normal things could and would happen with a windbloes OS...i was watching The Omen on tv when a major snafu happened and i mused to myself that it just had to be Damien (the devils spawn)...ie microcrap windbloes that was responsible...thereafter computers to me (until i discovered linux) was nothing more than the devils spawn and immediately named my computer DAMIEN and of course use that name in course to identify not so much myself but what i think of most microcrap OS in general lol...thought id give you folks a little jockularity today for fun with this anecdote...by the way, what precipitated the conversation in the supermarket was my Red Neck Rice Rocket motorised bicycle that PCNetSpec asked me to post on the forum for him to see...its too bad that i dont have gas tank decals that say "Powered By Linux" on it...im sure that the conversations wouldnt just be about how i built the bike lol...DAMIEN

Interesting story  :)  For me Windoze came to represent loudly whirring fans, constantly churning hard drives and extra stress in my life.  >:(

Unfortunately if you spoke to most people about replacing Windows with Peppermint they'd probably think you wanted to take out their panes of glass and put these in instead:

a) I'm not sure a commercial printer would be happy printing the trademarked Microsoft Windows Logo/Name

and

b) If I were to do the ones above I'd like them on a kinda metal back (if you get my meaning).

Have you anywhere in mind ?

Not only that we could get ourselves into trouble
