Multi syncing Browser Favourites
« on: October 31, 2017, 01:53:59 am »
Hi all

Although I mainly use Chrome or Chromium based browsers, I was wondering is there an independent "Syncing" service that works across multiple browsers for favourites.  My Favourites are just such a mess  :P

Regards Zeb...

Just go old school. Save your favorites (bookmarks, I'm assuming) to a HTML file using the browser's Bookmark Manager.  Then you can import them into most, if not all, browsers.

I hate to say it but: Online Bookmarking... :o

Personally I have not gone this far yet but it is an option.

@grafiksinc

which web browser are you using ?

I'm wondering why your DDG search string had "canonical" instead of "peppermint" in it ?
(I've fixed the link above BTW ;))

The problem is, I add new ones all the time and use diff browsers all the time whilst distro hopping - it would be a night mare to keep up manually  :)

I have found XMarks from the same crowd as LastPass - going to give them a whirl - and let you know.
