Looks like it.

We could **possibly** troubleshoot the systemd issue, but whether it'd be fixable is another matter .. and is it worth it ?

For a geriatric coal-fired slug, it is behaving nicely, PMOS6 has given the old girl a new lease of life.

No diagnostic messages like a rash of this bug or fault. It is quite hard to believe it's the same lappy.

Well chuffed m8, going back older software, didn't occur to me, well spotted and for encouraging me over the final hurdle, was ready to call it a day.

PM6 was pretty light and responsive, and is still a lot of peoples favourite Peppermint.
