« on: July 18, 2017, 10:27:29 pm »
Can someone tell me why there is too much information in the date format? ???

Not a clue, but then I've never used orage.

BTW, I can barely make out those images .. I certainly can't read the text in them besides the "Orage" titlebar

I don't use the calendar either mainly the files concerns me, but wanted to give different views of this mess, it's the same behind everything that has a date. Does this close-up help?

Additionally I can change the "Layout and Tooltip" fields all day and the result is the same.

Looks like the encoding has changed to unicode (utf-8)  :-\

If you feel like experimenting, try installing  DejaVu Sans or Symbola font(s), and see if that clears it up.

EDIT

Just checked, and they're both available in the repos ...   ;)
