P8 does not see logitech usb webcam

Hi guys,, P8 does not see my logitech usb webcam automatically. Can anyone help please?

Can you unplug the device .. wait 5 seconds .. replug the device .. then post the output from:

Well it doesn't work in Skype and I don't see any other way of testing it - do you know of any? Thanks

Does going to

Menu > Sound & Video > guvcview

result in a webcam image ?

Hi lambousa, try installing: cheese and test the camera through that too  ;).
