Peppermint and my Dell 3000
« on: June 28, 2014, 06:02:42 am »
After trying several distros on this aging desktop computer, I just installed the new Peppermint 5. So far so good. I hope that this time it will meet all my needs and am really excited by the new features the Peppermint team have added to this new version. I have some questions but I will browse through the forum first before posting.

Thanks a ton for re-adding the open as root option when right clicking on a folder. Little touches like this go a long way to making this distro shine.

Thanks for the kind words. We do try very hard to make as good of a distro as we can.

BTW, I've moved this to the GNU/Linux Discussion board as it's not a support inquiry.

Cheers.
