If you're using Chromium/Chrome .. about the easiest way to set/change your homepage is to

a) go to:
chrome://settings
and put a tick in "Show Home button"

b) in any tab go to the website you want to be your homepage

c) drag it's favicon (the little icon at the beginning of the address bar) onto the "Home" button and drop it .. Chromium/Chrome will inform you the homepage has been changed.

In fact you can drag the favicon to the "Home" button in Firefox too (to set the homepage) .. I just can't remember if the home button is displayed by default in Firefox any more, or if you have to right-click the tab/menu bar, select "Customise" and drag the "Home" button onto the toolbar.

See above for how to set the homepage .. but if you want Chromiium to "start" on the homepage...

Enter:
chrome://settings
in the address bar and hit enter.

Tick "Open a specific page or set of pages" .. then click Set pages

Remove the current start page and add the MSN URL.
