USB soundcard not recognized, help (SOLVED)
« on: May 12, 2017, 02:26:10 pm »
I have old USB card with digital output (turtle beach original microadvantage), works well on puppylinux, but on P7, in the gui there is no USB soundcard as an option.  I removed pulseaudio since on terminal alsamixer work and recognizes USB card.  I rebooted and still there is no USB soundcard option.

would appreciate how to get this working.

So if you run:
Code: [Select]
alsamixer
then hit F6 .. you USB soundcard isn't listed ?

on alsamixer it is listed but cannot activate it to play sound.  In gui under control center, there is no option of USB soundcard...
