You've been  a solid member of this community for, what, about 7 years now?  I'm pretty sure you came to Peppermint OS when it was brand new.  I was actually surprised you weren't already a Trusted User, given that you've been one of the biggest Peppermint supporters over the years and I've never seen anything that doesn't fit within the forum rules in any of your posts.  So, I'd say this was long overdue.  :)

again, still humbled... and all my relatives love their dotty old uncle... or their dotty old cousin @PCNetSpec....  Oh and yes @scifidude79 I was somehow fortunate enough to discover peppermintOne very early on and have been ever so pleased to release MS's hold on my machines...

I sadly missed PeppermintOne and PeppermintICE .. I invaded at Peppermint Two (when Ubuntu went all "Unity" on me) :)

i skipped peppermintICE whilst still unlearning my decades of MS habits... ready to wipe this laptop for the next thing as I'm tired of a few issues...

You were wise to stay away from Ice.  While it was cool in that the Ice software was being tested in its first full run, the spin had a lot of issues, whereas One was rock solid.  I was glad when Kendall decided to fully implement Ice into Peppermint Two, rather than doing a separate .iso for it.
