No sound from speakers (issue SOLVED itself)
« on: April 12, 2017, 07:54:15 pm »
So I left my computer to walk my dog and when I came back I had no audio from my speakers. Computer went into suspend while I was gone. So I rebooted and nothing. So I searched online for a fix. I tried sudo alsa force-reload then rebooting and still nothing. So then I tried uninstalling via sudo apt-get remove --purge alsa-base pulseaudio, followed by an sudo apt autoremove, then sudo apt-get install alsa-base pulseaudio followed by a reboot, but still nothing. My analog line out is showing and Firefox Audio stream is on. I have my analog line out selected, mute is off, and my speakers are turned on. I installed a couple of updates before I left to walk the dog, could those be the issue? Can anyone help?
P.S. My speakers work when plugged into my smartphone.
