I have Peppermint OS 7 installed on my 2008 Sony Vaio VGN-CR420E, the inxi and hardware specs follow. Sorry for the hardware specs part not maintaining formatting from the original document.

My former recording secretary owned a Sony Vaio - it never left her side.  Great little laptop !  A quality build, as zebedeeboss says.

She never turned her Vaio off, actually.  It was either being used, or it was in 'suspend' mode. 

Winders user, of course, but we won't hold that against her ...   :)
