Can I add Gnome

I tried too add gnome on mint but it crashed so can pepermint os handle it?

Sure you can add it, but there's no reason to.  You can just run Ubuntu Gnome and you'll have the same thing, with Gnome ready to go out of the box.

Adding Gnome is possible, but I wouldn't suggest it, and I'm a GS fanboi.  No reason to reinvent the wheel.

If you like the look n' feel of Peppermint OS, but you want a modern Gnome UI, the best path would probably be to multi-boot it with something like Korora Xfce;)
