First of all, welcome aboard, William  :)

Second of all ...

Nearly eleven years in The Netherlands for me.  I'm also shivering.  The amount of rain we get, makes the UK look positively arid  :o!

I knew you guys wouldn't believe this, so I took a screenie of my Conky - the PWS I use is less than 2 blocks away.

Yes, it's actually raining in Arizona. I can count, on one hand, the number of times a year that I get rain:

Talking about 'positively arid', Andy, it's been raining here all day, and it's still only 75% humidity. LoL!  :D

.... As for where my home town was , here's a clue ...

Late to the party, but I refer the honourable gentleman to the reply I gave some moments ago.

Welcome billy-one. I run a forest community forum (in fact the oldest continuously running one on the internet). My username stands for "Trent End" Tricky originally from when I used to contribute to the brian as "a trent end tricky", then as an early internet adopter became the first "tricky" to take that name online. Both sides of the family are actually counteh fans, luckily my father chose Forest to annoy his brother. A close shave.

Morning,

Nick from Nottingham here,

I've been using Linux since the early Slackware days, and have also dabbled with Gentoo and many others,
I'm new to Peppermint - but love it.  Ive installed it on an old Laptop and it's impressively fast and looks good.
The laptop is used to RDP onto Virtual Windows Machines running on Ubuntu, and also to access my Mac every now and then.

I'm a partner in a small software company, and am currently working on Mobile Phone dev using Xamarin forms, c# etc.

Keep up the good work.
I plan to live forever, or die trying

Hi everyone! I'm Mateo (I'd say the english form is Matthew), I've tried Live PeppermintOS on my computer for a while and I've finally decided to install it, so i bought a new HDD (Previous one was broken). I'm a 20 yo guy from Colombia sumercé, I studied one semester of an engineering, but I got kicked out of college, lol  >:( >:(. I'm seeking to get into college next year, again... I want to study Computer Science. Other topics I like besides Linux are literature, arts, some philosophy and cycling.

This is my Peppermint Desktop  ;D
Have a good day and keep the great work!

Best wishes, Mateo.
