Nice site, emegra.  Never knew about it!  ;)

Here's a site, snubbi, I've found helpful when it comes to wallpapers.  With a name like wallpaperswide, you can tell that they're really into wallpapers!  :)

Hi snubbi,

Those who is default installed are too dark in my opinion

I was able to get this result (5-10 minutes work) on a Peppermint 7 (respin) with the standard included themes/icons and settings:

In addition to what emegra suggested, Noobslab also has some decent themes/icons.

Greets!  ;)
Peppermint 6  (x64)   -   Windows 7 Ultimate SP1  (x64)
Running different OS flavors in VirtualBox, just for fun!

Hi snubbi, how's it going  :)?  Here's another good site with some great themes and icons: XFCE-LOOK.org  ;).

The instructions for the Mac theme, is for transforming the Unity desktop.  The Unity desktop environment it the default DE for plain Ubuntu and Ubuntu StudioPeppermint 7 doesn't use Unity.  Yes you can make your Peppermint distro look like OSX if you want.  You won't be able to do it using that method  :(.

@GNULINUX

You might want to change the menu button "Title" (in the whiskermenu properties) from:
Code: [Select]
<span foreground="#F7E0E1" font_desc="vibrocentric bold italic 15">menu </span>
to
Code: [Select]
<span foreground="#000000" font_desc="vibrocentric bold italic 15">menu </span>
to make the word "menu" appear black on the menu button

@ PCNetSpec:
Yeah, looks a bit pink atm... Was just an example, didn't go for the "finishing touch"!  ;)

Hey I carefully chose that pink :P because against the dark background it kinda looks white but with a vague red dropshadow effect which I thought caught the 'Peppermint' colours pretty well (at least it does on my monitors).

But yeah, that effect doesn't work on light backgrounds where it just looks pink.

Good choice, PCNetSpec.  Always stylish, never dated, Peppermint 7's timeless Cristiano Ronaldo Hot Pink is the only way to go!  ;)
