This site is somewhat funny, but disturbing and true !!!   :D

Bring this link up in a new tab, and leave it running in the background for awhile.

See what you think ...

Oh yeah, that would instil a sense of confidence in people that didn't stop and think it through ???

If you think about it there's nothing going on there you wouldn't expect, a website needs to know where your mouse is and where you click to respond to input, but some people will get all paranoid about it without thinking.

Now, if it said something like, "Subject is now scratching nose," then you'd need to be worried.  :P

If you think about it there's nothing going on there you wouldn't expect, a website needs to know where your mouse is and where you click to respond to input [...]

True, but I discovered that addy in a LinkedIn 'warning' post.  I'm sure some or most of the 'professionals' over there would be shocked by the implications and ramifications, if they took the time to study it.

A lot of web sites track everything you're doing, and make a profile from the extrapolated data.  We know that, but I would suggest that most people don't, despite all the warnings.  I judge that most ppl simply ignore the 'cookie policy' warnings that are popping up, all over the web these days, and consider them a nuisance - to their peril ... or not.  Who knows ?!?!?

Amazon.com servers, for instance, know which and what you're going to buy before you do.  Amazon is so confident of their predictive algos, they're tossing around the idea of shipping product(s) to members before they actually place an order, along with a prepaid return label if they don't want it.

Anyway, it's all good fun, at this point ...

I disagree with things like tracking where you've been/come from, input sharing, hidden forwarding, third party popups/unders/overs, etc. etc., but a website that your browser gives input feedback to ?

How the heck would (onsite) hyperlinks, elements, or HTML5 games work for example if it didn't ?
(or maybe I missed something ?)

I'll admit I only had a quick look at your link, but I saw nothing there to worry about.
(though that's not to say cookies and the like aren't abusable)
