Trying to install Linux on wifes laptop (SOLVED)

I am trying to install linux on my wifes laptop as a side by side with her win 7... 
No matter which linux Distro I have tried her orange light for the wifi only turns blue with windows 7, when I boot a live CD the light stays offline and orange, and no wifi is available...
Here is the spec sheet for her machine, I am going to boot up again using peppermint 3, if someone can tell me what codes to run to find out what wifi card it has, and why it is not working that would be great...  thank you...

I just booted again and now it is working so I am going to install now....  :P

Any problems with wifi after the install give us a shout and we'll see what we can discover ;)
