Okay, well I can't guarantee how the gtk themes will look in Peppermint 6 because they were designed for gtk 3.18 .. but you can certainly install them and take a look.
(icon and wallpapers should be fine)

To install (from my dropbox) , run these commands in sequence
Code: [Select]
cd /usr/share/icons
then
Code: [Select]
sudo wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31525164/pm7-icons.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo tar xvf pm7-icons.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo rm -v pm7-icons.tar.gz
okay that's the icons done

Now for the wallpapers
Code: [Select]
cd /usr/share/peppermint/wallpapers
then
Code: [Select]
sudo wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31525164/pm7-wallpapers.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo tar xvf pm7-wallpapers.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo rm -v pm7-wallpapers.tar.gz
that's the wallpapers done

Now for the themes
Code: [Select]
cd /usr/share/themes
then
Code: [Select]
sudo wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31525164/pm7-themes.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo tar xvf pm7-themes.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
sudo rm -v pm7-themes.tar.gz
that's the themes done.

Now just apply them in the normal way .. but bear in mind that the gtk themes may or may not look right in Peppermint 6

Icons and wallpapers are working without a problem!
The themes are working and are nice but give colored (red in this case) dotted lines all over the place...  ::)

Yeah I kinda figured they wouldn't work properly with gtk < 3.18

Sorry but there's nothing I can do about that :( .. you'll have to find a dark theme that works in 14.04, but the Peppermix-Dark-7 xfwm Window Manager Theme should still work.

Peppermint Control Center > Window Manager (tab) > Theme > Peppermix-Dark-7
