I am using a mobile broadband.
If I type lsusb I get :

Bus 001 Device 014: ID 12d1:1506 Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. Modem/Networkcard

but often Network connection can't see the usb modem nor Peppermint can mount it. Sometimes it works and sometime it does not.

The strange thing is that everytime I reboot, lsusb for teh same usb modem gives me the same idVendor but dfferent idProduct.

I tried with a different usb modem...and the same probelkm is happening.
I need a connection!

Thanks.

To help us help you, ALL new requests for technical support should include basic system information.

If you haven't already done so, please open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run the following command:
Code: [Select]
inxi -Fz
then copy what was returned in the terminal and post it back here.

This was an automated response but please don't ignore it, providing this information now is highly likely to save time for both you and any prospective respondents and aid in the diagnosis of your problem  .. Thanks in advance :)

Does unpluging, replugging the dongle make any difference ?

if not, after doing that post the output from:
Code: [Select]
dmesg | tail -n 40
