I take it you've logged off/on, as the changes may not be applied without restarting the panel ?

If you have .. try comparing your
Code: [Select]
pluma /etc/xdg/menus/peppermint-applications.menu
to this default one
Code: [Select]

or simply reinstall peppermint-default-settings
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install --reinstall peppermint-default-settings
and then log off/on.
but be aware reinstalling that may also revert some other changes you've made.

If that still doesn't work, what's the output from:
Code: [Select]
ls -a ~/.config/menus/applications-merged
?

Hi coldsunshine,

Great that you got things working again!  :)

It is not necessarily something that you messed up ... it could very possibly (even probably) be that libremenu messed something up!!  >:(

Also, thanks for marking the topic as [solved]!

Hi coldsunshine,

Sorry about that.  :-[

I guess it has something to do with your use of libremenu and the way it changed your menu configuration: something seems to still be there that perhaps needs modification or removal. I will defer to someone who knows about what that program has done and how to make the corrections.

Regards,
