To help us help you, ALL new requests for technical support should include basic system information.

If you haven't already done so, please open a terminal (Ctrl+Alt+T) and run the following command:
Code: [Select]
inxi -Fz
then copy what was returned in the terminal and post it back here.

This was an automated response but please don't ignore it, providing this information now is highly likely to save time for both you and any prospective respondents and aid in the diagnosis of your problem  .. Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried the Windows drivers via ndisgtk ?

If not, open a terminal and run:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install dkms build-essential ndisgtk
now download this file
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31525164/SiS163U_R109d_VistaWin7.rar
and unpack it.

Then in your menu go to

menu > System Tools > Windows Wireless Drivers

Click on "Install New Driver"

Click on "Location", and browser to where you unpacked the driver .. then the "64bit" folder .. then the "sis163u.inf" file.

Then click the "Install" button.

Okay I've repacked them as a tarball .. with an ethernet connection, open a terminal and run:
Code: [Select]
cd ~/Desktop
then
Code: [Select]
wget https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/31525164/SiS163U_R109d_VistaWin7.tar.gz
then
Code: [Select]
tar xvf SiS163U_R109d_VistaWin7.tar.gz
you should now have a folder on your desktop called "SiS163U_R109d_VistaWin7"

You're most welcome :)

You might want to keep a copy of that driver tarball as I don't know how long it'll stay in my dropbox .. otherwise you can get it from here:
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/IndexDownload.asp?lng=EN&ln=no&LC=yes

Driver > WLAN > WLAN MiniCard D2301 (for the AMILO Li 1818)

which is where I found it.
