Infected Android phones could flood America's 911 with DDoS attacks:  One killer trojanised app or $100k of hardware is enough.

I knew there was something intuitively wrong about worrying about what browser comes from where when it came to Distrubited Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks.  But, unfortunately, this dystopian scenario of our own Android phones one day being actually used against us makes some sense.  I can see how an ounce of prevention here would certainly be worth a pound of cure.

For the curious, below are Pogo's thoughts on another dystopian matter of sorts.
