Wallpaper Changer problem (SOLVED)
« on: June 09, 2014, 02:56:04 pm »
It seems I am having an issue with my daughters new machine and my wallpaper changer script i run from my .config folder...
what is happening is when i have the script in place i get a desktop manager error when it boots... when i move the script to my desktop everything is fine...
what I believe is happening is it is trying to change the wallpaper before the desktop manager has loaded thus causing the machine to go haywire....
here is a copy of my script if someone can tell me how to make it sleep for 20 seconds or so that would be great, thanks in advance...   :D
Code: [Select]

Exec=bash -c 'pcmanfm -w "$(find /home/hpze4400/Pictures/Wallpaper -type f | shuf -n1)"'
Terminal=false
Type=Application
Categories=Utility;
Icon=wallpaper

Try changing the line:
Code: [Select]
Exec=bash -c 'pcmanfm -w "$(find /home/hpze4400/Pictures/Wallpaper -type f | shuf -n1)"'to
Code: [Select]
Exec=bash -c 'sleep 20 ; pcmanfm -w "$(find /home/hpze4400/Pictures/Wallpaper -type f | shuf -n1)"'
