Settings Panel - translation ?
« on: July 31, 2016, 07:00:32 pm »
I noticed that the Control Center panel and the new Settings panel are not translated following a different language installation then English. I am using French and everything else is translated, even the Appearance Personnalisation panel. Are those ones been forgotten ?  That should be very easy to translate.

ICE also doesn't have translations.

This is my task for Peppermint 8 .. to figure out how to apply translations.

When you say "it should be easy" .. I guess you mean the actual translation, or do you mean you know how to generate and apply POT files for packages ?

If the latter, great .. do you want the job ;)

No I mean the actual translation.  How come it's done in the "Appearance Personnalisation" panel ? It's not the same method ? Not sure if this panel is an original Peppermint or a standard xfce/ldme.
