Is it worth it ?
« on: July 31, 2016, 10:44:27 am »
Today I have a MSI Nettop 110, atom 230, 2gb of ram, 160gb HDD

I don't know if I should upgrade, I found a PC with a Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 with 4gb of ram at 50 euros.

I'm french I looked up for used part and can't find better deals. Any ideas ?

An E5200 with Peppermint be pretty quick CPU wise and 4GB is plenty for most tasks, but do you know which graphics card the system has ?

I can't find cheaper PC... It is integrated graphics, Intel GMA 3100
It's funny I can play youtube videos at 480p pretty smoothly

GMA 3100 should work, but don't expect it to be a gamer.

I have a similar system, a Pentium Dual Core, 4GB and an Intel GMA 4500 and it runs Peppermint beautifully.  It's fast and responsive.  Not good for gaming, but I have a more beastly system for that.
