mp3gain install not work (SOLVED)
« on: June 02, 2014, 03:45:45 pm »
I am new to Linux and tried to install mp3gain to ajust sound tracks. But after install there was no start button anywhere. There is a mp3gain folder in usr/share/doc and a file called mp3gain in usr/bin   I tried making a .desktopfile but had no permission to do so.

How can i start mp3gain at this point?

(sorry for my english. Its not my native language)

mp3gain is a command line tool .. if you want a GUI for it, also install easymp3gain-gtk:
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get install easymp3gain-gtk

You'll then find it in the menu's at

menu > Sound & Video > easyMP3gain
