Linux Journey
« on: June 03, 2016, 03:28:24 am »
Hi all, how's it going?  I've found a new, easy to follow Linux starter tutorial called, Linux Journey.  The authors have obviously put a lot of time and effort into writing this.  I think it has paid off.   It's very newbie friendly, easy to follow.  It's very nicely structured.  It comes with quizzes to test yourself and it's fun; always a good thing when learning something new 8).   I've run through it and it basically explains the majority of newbie and not so newbie questions.  I'll certainly be using it as a  reference point when helping new users understand Linux.  You can check it out for yourselves here: Linux Journey.  I've turned it into an SSB and have it in my Education section of the menu  ;).

Not just for new users either .. I found some of the regex stuff very well explained.
