Praise for Peppermint OS from DistroWatch.com
« on: March 14, 2016, 03:29:15 am »
Hi everyone,

This week's DistroWatch.com issue of DistroWatch Weekly (Issue 652) has a great Tips & Tricks section about Verifying ISO images. Here you will find (at the end of that section) praise for the Peppermint OS team -- which, of course, is well-deserved!!

Bravo, Team Peppermint !!   :) :-* 8)

Regards,

-- Slim

Yes, this is yet another area where Peppermint stands out.  I'm sure we've all been on the site of a distro where you have to hunt down that md5sum just to verify the file.  >:( Not here.  When you hit "Download," there it is, big and bold.  Team Peppermint even tells us what to do with it, for those who don't know.  I wish all distributions could take a cue from Peppermint and have that information as readily accessible.

It's always nice to see a site that a lot of people pay attention to pointing out what a great job Team Peppermint does.  It's definitely well deserved.
