Mapping the keyboard
« on: February 15, 2016, 01:59:34 am »
Hi.  Just installed Peppermint 6.  Very nice.  Haven't looked at it in a long time.  It really performs!

Question: I'm accustomed to tapping the Windows key and getting the Menu in the lower left corner to pop up.  I really like keeping my hands on the keyboard and not using the mouse.  It's easy to define this in XFCE, but I can't figure out how to do it in LXDE.  Can someone help?  Thanks.

Hi jeffneedle,

Read this posting for the info you are seeking. You can use this entry in the file mentioned there to open the menu with the Windoze key:

Code: [Select]
"lxpanelctl menu"
