Hi rajeev2631007, how's it going?  You could try changing your DNS settings and use openDNS instead: https://www.opendns.com/.  Sign up with them, it's free for home users.  You'll have much greater control of what reaches your computer with openDNS's filter settings.  Plus as an added advantage, it'll probably speed up your internet connection.

That's great to know.  I think it's a great service and a splendid way of improving your online security.  It stops or, at least significantly reduces spam and phishing too.  It's easy to setup and it's free for home users.  These are all very good things in my book  ;)

If you're happy with the results after you've finished testing.  Please remember to mark the topic as [SOLVED] in the subject line of the original post - many thanks  ;).

Hello rajeev2631007 and AndyInMokum,

Another good one that works very well is Norton's ConnectSafe.  It has three policies for security, security and pornography, and security, pornography, and other (violence, alcohol, drugs, gangs, etc...), andy best of all, it's free.  Also, your search data is deleted typically after two days, which I think is pretty good for the services ConnectSafe provides.

It also is the best DNS service I've seen when it comes to passing the DNS Nameserver Spoofability Test. ;)

You're welcome, Rajeev.  And, indirectly, we got back into the subject of DNS providers yesterday within another thread too.

All these resources are worth looking into.  It's not easy for parents who have children using the Internet today.  You want them to learn as much as possible and still keep them safe online while doing so too.
