Steam Controller
« on: November 28, 2015, 10:13:01 pm »
Has anyone used the steam controller on peppermint, or any linux at all? I've been thinking about getting one but I'm just wondering if it's too much of a hassle to configure on linux.

Hi bubadubadoo, as far as I know you just plug it in and it works.  One of the presenters on either the Ubuntu Podcast or mintCast got his hands on one.  He was praising how well it worked.  I'd be very surprised if it didn't work because SteamOS is Debian based.  I say go for it  ;).

I haven't gotten one yet.  However, as Andy said, it's supoosed to be plug and play.  One thing you can do is go to the Steam Controller store page and check out the Community Discussions.  You can do a search for Linux and the results will tell you if anybody is having major issues.
