Sticky Keys (HOW TO)
« on: November 03, 2015, 11:09:25 am »
If you type with one hand, as I have always done, then using 'sticky keys' to latch the Shift/Ctrl/Alt, etc. modifier keys is pretty essential.

Here's how to do that in Peppermint.

#1. Install a very small program called xkbset

#2. To enable sticky keys in a session, then run -

xkbset sticky
xkbset exp -st
xkbset st

#3. To autorun sticky keys all the time, then add these 2 lines to /home/username/.config/lxsession/Peppermint/autostart   ( ~/.config/lxsession/Peppermint/autostart) -

@xkbset exp 60 =sticky =twokey =latchlock
@xkbset sticky -twokey latchlock

#4. You're done :)
