. Yeah, that's a great use for
Peppermint Five. I'm using my
Acer Aspire One ZG5 at the moment. I love the combo

. To your issue. I had to do this for my mother-in-law's
Acer Aspire One D250 with
Peppermint Six and It works a treat. They're splendid little machines. Make sure you have your ethernet cable plugged in. Open a terminal window with the following keystrokes:
Ctrl+Alt+t. If you haven't already done so, update and upgrade
Peppermint, (I suggest you do this anyway). Enter the following commands into the terminal window:
Tip:
Linux is case sensitive. To reduce the possibility of typographical errors, please click the
Code: [Select] function below to highlight the contents. Click on the centre mouse button/wheel while the cursor is in the terminal window to paste the contents.
apt update && apt upgrade
Hit enter and enter your user password if asked. Hit enter again and follow the on screen instructions. Next enter this command:
Hit enter and enter your user password if asked. Hit enter again and follow the on screen instructions. Finally enter this command:
apt install firmware-b43-installer b43-fwcutter
Hit enter and enter your user password if asked. Hit enter again and follow the on screen instructions. If your wireless doesn't immediately spring into life, reboot your machine. Hopefully, that'll do the trick
