Open your terminal and run...
Code: [Select]
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install pulseaudio pulseaudio-utils pavucontrol
Reboot and test your sound.

Once the OP responds, I'm going to move this to the "Support > Hardware" forum.

I'll also send a link to the new location to the OP.

This forum is not for support questions ;)

Run this command (it's all one command, so probably best to copy/paste):
Code: [Select]
wget -O alsa-info.sh http://www.alsa-project.org/alsa-info.sh && chmod +x ./alsa-info.sh && ./alsa-info.sh

hit enter when presented with "OK"

Hit the tab key to select "UPLOAD/SHARE"

Hit enter

hit enter to accept "YES"

ht enter to accept "EXIT"

there will now be a URL (web link) in your terminal .. similar to:-

http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=e642840588b26b53b24dd1ebfa7244346cbcb726

can you post that link here.
