Another Power Manager Issue? Plug vs unplugged
« on: October 15, 2015, 07:42:40 am »
Hello again,

I have noticed that the default power manager understand and changes mode between battery and AC when the OS is running.  However, if I turn off the PC while it is plugged in, disconnected ac, then turn it on without the AC plug, power manager still assumed that I am plug to AC and stays on all the time.  Noticed this on my acer one and asus u50f.

I saw various post that suggested changing to a different power manager.  Should I try the xfce4 manager?

Yes, I would suggest trying XFCE4 Power Manager.  It could just be a problem with the MATE Power Manager and switching may fix it.
