Guide to use Clonezilla and Aptik
« on: October 04, 2015, 08:01:40 am »
Cloning or imaging is the process by which the contents of a computer's hard drive are copied in their entirety to a file (or numbered sequence of files) with the purpose of backing a computer's system state so that it may later be restored in an identical state on a different computer. I am sharing some of related Articles and video which I found useful.

Aptik (Automated Package Backup and Restore) is a GUI application that lets you backup your favourite PPAs and Packages. It is very difficult to remember to which packages are installed and from where it has been installed them. We can take backup and restore of all the PPAs before re-installation or up-gradation of OS.
