Linux supports printer sharing over networks, so you can print from your Linux machine, your Windows machine, etc, to another Linux or Windows machine that has a printer attached (ie a "Linux print server" or "Windows print server"). Great stuff.  While it doesn't apply to me, this is always good information to have for people who need to share a networked printer.   8)

Nice one!

I use a standalone Netgear PS110 print server (supports 2 printers) - couldn't get along without network printing.

This tutorial includes Local printing and Networking printing both. This tutorial can be used by home user to co-operate user and system administrator.
